Coconut Palm

July 12, 2018 – My in-laws gave me a sprouted coconut that fell off a tree in their backyard. I kept it in this pot for the first couple months.
October 21, 2018 – after a little neglect in the pot, I finally decided to plant it
November 23, 2018
January 5, 2019 – still alive but not really growing
January 27, 2019 – finally a new leaf emerging
February 23, 2020 – the original wasn’t growing so I ripped it out and tried four new coconuts
April 25, 2020 – they seem to be doing well
