The Berry Bed

The previous owner had flowers planted in mulch running along the yard side of the pool fence. I let them get overrun with weeds and it got pretty messy. Over the next few months, I slowly turned it around. This photo was taken on June 21, 2018.
August 19, 2018 – I planted a blackberry vine purchased from Walmart on the left. The right side is a Muscadine Grape plant purchased from Lowe’s. My goal is to have both plants trellised along the fence.
